For those of you who don't know, the Lord has recently provided me with a job so that I can pay rent and remain here at BHOP and continue to serve Him in this place. I am working at Dunn Bros. Coffee which is a localized business up here in Minnesota. I am always excited to meet new people and join in their lives, knowing the opportunities that the Lord provides to love and witness to them. It is incredible! So far I have met nine of my 10 coworkers and am getting to know them. Working in a coffee shop is always fun because the people are so quirky and diverse. But in every single one of those friendships which are forming, the Lord is providing opportunity not only for prayer and intercession on their behalf (which opens the floodgates of heaven over those lives and allows me to join in what the Lord is doing), but also open doors to share the Gospel and truly fall in love with these ones whom God loves so dearly.
He is opening my eyes to the feelings of His heart, the deep love He has for us, as humans. And this takes my breath away. Yes, I have known that He loves us for my whole life. But my heart is beginning to feel the tiniest outer reaches of what His heart feels and that, my friends, is more weighty than I can express. The love of the Lord does not end!
I share this not to make myself look good...for I am sure none of you would be fooled if I tried for that :)...so nobody think I am more than I am. Indeed, I am probably far more broken than you can see. But praise the Lord that He is a work in our lives! He is SO GOOD and His love goes on and on!
Please continue to join with me in this journey and pray for me, that the Lord would empower me to love and good works beyond my own ability!
