Hey friends and family. This is just a brief update. I have been pretty ill the pat couple of weeks. As it turns out, I have Mono. I am feeling much better than I originally did. It started with a super high fever. The fevers have passed and my appetite is back. The doctor says that as long as I continue to drink plenty of fluids and get lots of rest, I should be back to normal in a couple of weeks. Please remain in prayer as I continue my studies here. Being that I must rest, I cannot do anything strenuous. Therefore, my work in the kitchen has been temporarily terminated. Besides that, I cannot work around food. I do miss cooking, though.
Pray that this time would be spent well, seeking the face of the Lord more earnestly than I ever have. I am somewhat alone as far as people go. This is both difficult and sad. However, I am looking to Christ.

You know mono is a kissing disease... Just kidding i love you Katelyn. and I think that is awesome that you are listening to the lord and deciding to stay there another year and be a mentor, i know you will be awesome at that, you are so ecouraging and full of fire.
