Hey everybody! I just wanted to thank you all for your prayers for direction in my life. I am excited to update you as to what is going on here in the great north. Wondering about the Matrix? Read on.
The announcement came to the students just before dinner in March of 2008. Excitement spread throughout the campus as the internship sites became known. I heard the laughter and happy voices as my freshman class came into the dining room for the evening meal. "Thailand!" Well, I'd never thought about going to Thailand but, wow, certainly I was eager to pray and see if the Lord would have me go. However, as I prayed, the Lord did not direct me there. Also considering another site, the Lord closed that door as well. "Where, then, Lord?"
As I have been praying about the direction in which the Lord may have me go, He put mentoring in my heart as I asked him about internship, etc. Beginning to pray about it, I was surprised when Kyndra (my Mentor) and then Carol (the Dean of Women here) asked me about whether I would be interested in becoming a mentor here on campus. This door remained open! Having further sought the Lord, I will, indeed, be mentoring in the fall! What does that mean? It means that I will be staying here in Minnesota for another year, mentoring a group of 8 to 10 women. This is a little unusual because it is not the norm for a mentor to also be a student. I am young. I am still a student, finishing out my last term here. And the Lord has put in me the vision and desire to disciple, to love, to ignite, to propel into a trajectory of bringing the Kingdom to earth as it is in Heaven the people placed around me.
I wonder what kind of mentor I will be...

Guys, I need prayer! There's a fire starting. There are rumblings about. Movement is beginning and transformation must and shall occur!
