Oh, Passports are fun. They are good...especially when traveling. So the deal is, I am having so difficulty getting my passport. I applied way back a long time ago. And the process has been one of considerable paperwork and many many phone calls to the passport agency.
Why so difficult, you ask? Well, it all started one dark and calm night on June 23, 1989. It was then that I was born at my parents' home; and it was then that I did not get my birth certificate. I did not get that until I was eleven. Lack of immunization and public school records complicated the situation. So, you see, there aren't really any records of my early childhood. Thus, the agency is having trouble accepting the documentation that I do have.
Moral of the story: it is hard to get your passport to go to England when you were born at home and were home-schooled.
So, please pray with me! I know that the Lord has told me to go to England. And I know He will provide this document. It is merely a question of "when." At this point, it would be a true miracle if I was off the ground on my departure date. It looks like there will be a few weeks of delay. But the Lord can do anything! Thank you for praying with me.
The Lord has been turning my little world very up-side-down. He is the Rock, the very firm Foundation. He is teaching me to cling only to Him. He is very good, strengthening and providing for my every need. This is my confession: He is always good.
Love to all,
Katelyn
