Made it Through!

Yes, friends, it's true! I am in Birmingham at Betel RIGHT NOW. The Lord is so faithful. My passport came in the mail the morning of September 17th. It was funny, on the morning of the 15th, I was spending time with the Lord. So, there I was, just telling the Lord how I trusted Him...and thanking Him for His faithfulness. When, all of the sudden, I felt Him very clearly say, "I am glad you trust me. Now, ask Me. Seek and knock, Katelyn. And I will give it to you." And ask I did! Throughout the day, I called the passport agency and they couldn't connect me to the lady handling my file for one reason after another. I kept seeking the Lord over and over and over again. I was, in the end, thankful for the delay in communication as I enjoyed the stretching of needing to go to my Father repeatedly.

Having asked Him, and having asked many around me to pray for grace and favor with the agent, my call went through. Delightfully helpful for the FIRST time in all my dealings with them, she understood my fast approaching date of departure and asked if she could call me back in ten minutes. When she called again, she delivered the news for which we had prayed. They issued the passport for one year, based off of the proof I had given them of my birth in Texas and over-nighted it to me. Approved on the 15th, mailed on the 16th, arrived on the 17th, plane took off that night.

The Lord is so faithful! He has brought me here. There is no doubt in my mind. I could not have come but by His provision and grace. He is so good.

More to come as the next months unfold! Thank you, dear ones, for your prayers. I miss you all!
